2004- most of the summer helping Haverford College sculptor Chris Cairns rebuild his foundry. I rebuilt his burnout kiln and designed and fabricated a kiln cart. I also repaired and improved the melting furnace and revamped the piping and safety systems, as well asl reorganisatedof the storage,tool and work areas. 2005- made rubber mold and bronze cast of lifesize "Lazurus" by C Cairns, now in the Lasalle University Art Museum. Made rubber mold on twice lifesize seated Virgin Mary for J Devito. made an eight foot diameterfibreglass "dome" for a nightclub in Chicago. Also made a 12 foot long prop for the PA state distict attorney for a court presentation. made numerous small bronzes and molds.
2006- injured my back, so I was slowed down quite a bit, but am getting back to ful steam and am molding and casting a four foot version of the "virgin Mary" of J Devito. Making bronze casts for NYC artist Deborah Masters for a show that opens later this summer. Pictures will be online soon.
